Sadly I lost my sister yesterday aged 55. She was a lifelong West Ham fan.
I've been asked by her Newcastle supporting husband if I can find Bubbles to play at her funeral.
If anyone can help with a suitable copy so we can send Margaret off how she would have wanted

Ask the organist to play it as you leave the church/chapel.
That's what they did for my dad and it was beautiful

firstly my condolences for your loss mate, my thoughts are with you and your family.
secondly just a quick warning about burning the cd, i did the same for my uncle's funeral a few years ago but when i got to the crematorium their cd player wouldnt play recordable cds. luckily someone had bubbles on their iphone and we managed to connect it, so get them to check it.
hope all goes as well as can be expected.

Paste the doris day link on youtube below into the box at

It will convert it into an mp3 and let you download it.
Check it once downloaded though as sometimes it loses the end of the song

Did anyone have MP3 of the Doris Day and Vera Lynn versions that they could send a link to?
Just found I need to burn on CD and send to crematorium to make sure they can use at funeral next week

Sorry to hear that Stan. I have the Dean Martin version (although I read somewhere it's not actually Deano) as my ringtone. I'm not good at stuff like this and can't remember where I got it, but if I found it to download it must be easy. Plenty of softer versions though if you don't want a swing one.

Thanks all for your comments and offers. Didn't realise I'd get so choked up listening to those.
Not sure I'm looking forward to Bournemouth on Saturday - at least Sam won't be there - small joys. Was in Spain for Leicester so 1st match this season. Will go with my brother and lift a glass to her in the Black Lion beforehand.

I have the Dean Martin one as my ringtone. Great as long as you want a cheerful, upbeat version. Depends what mood you're after really..

What version do you need? The Vera Lynn one is excellent, I can sort you out with that or the one we play at home if you need them.
